    Large Jugendstil / Art Nouveau Sculpture entitled 'Judith' by E.Tell from Austria around 1900-1910.

    Gilded bronze (bronze dore), heavy execution (circa 29 kg with stone)
    Standing on an octagonal base with plaque 'Judith par E.Tell‘. Engraved signature on the base ‚E. Tell‘.
    Underneath a rectangular stone base, removably connected with a long screw.
    Patinated original condition with some age spots.
    In reference to Judith from Friedrich Hebbel's drama from 1840 with the same name.
