Condition: Very goo vintage condition. Newly upholstered.
Pair of remarkable Agati "Petro" armchairs in natural maple by Joe Agati, USA circa 1990s. Model #P-1000. The defining feature of these chairs lies in their unique and intricate structure. Designed with a captivating split-back detail, these chairs exhibit a slatted curved back, offering an unusual sculptural and architectural touch. The three-legged design, merged with a curved base structure, not only ensures stability but also contributes to their unique visual allure.
Crafted from solid natural maple the light, natural tone of the wood beautifully offsets the modern geometric patterned fabric used for upholstery. The fabric, created by the famous Belgian designer, Vincent Van Duysen, adds a layer of sophistication with its understated palette of charcoal, rust, pale gray, and tan colors. A fabric swatch can be made available upon request to ensure the perfect match with your decor.
These chairs are compact enough to fit comfortably in a variety of spaces yet sufficiently spacious for comfortable seating. Consider the versatility of these chairs - they are an excellent choice to add an inviting warmth to your foyer, enhance the charm of your living space by flanking a sideboard, or provide a comfortable and stylish setting for a small game/bistro table. Their unique design and superior craftsmanship make them not just seating options but conversation starters, reflecting your exquisite taste and appreciation for timeless design.
