Description
Set of 5 Pierre Chapo Style Chairs in Solid Elm France 1970s
This is a stunning set of five mid century dining chairs in solid elm in a very distinct style that resembles works by Pierre Chapo. Most probably French.
Very graphical and elegant, this set of chairs no doubt will be room defining in your interior. The clean lines and the warm color and grain of the solid elm make a fantastic combination with the upholstered seats in wool.
They feature great details like the subtle carved lines on the edges of the legs, the bulky castle like finials and the slight curvature of the backrests. Very well made with a lot of attention to detail - and very comfortable indeed.
These rare chairs have been restored and reupholstered by a skilled craftsman and are ready for another 50 years of use.
All in all this is a very desirable set of chairs.
