Contemporary Feijão Rocking Chair in Corten Steel by Rodrigo Simão, 2022
-
Description
Designed in 2015 by Rodrigo Simão, the “Feijão” chair pays homage to the award-winning designer’s country of origin not only in its name, “feijão” – a landmark in the Brazilian menu, but also in its material. Simão's version of the traditional rocking chair shows the natural diversity of Brazil, being produced in different types of wood and metals. Produced in 2022 with corten steel and with the combination of industrial and artisanal techniques, "Feijão" features a surface without visible joints.
