-
Description
Arno Declercq new large size Iroko wood and burned steel top Senufo stool or table. Use as a stool or a side table. Compare the two sizes in the photos included.
The patina on the stool is acquired by the Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban which burns the wood and preserves it. A special patina is applied to the burned steel top.
Arno Declercq is a Belgian designer and art dealer born in 1994 who makes bespoke objects for interiors with passion for design, atmosphere, history and craft.
Please note: No two stools or tables are exactly alike and due to the nature of the wood there can be slight cracks or fissures that are inherent to the material. And the patina applied to the steel is hand applied and is not meant to perfect or machine like.

Message from Seller:
Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago. From a longstanding interest in art and design, frequent buying trips to France and Italy have influenced the direction of the gallery to offer items that are not easily sourced in Chicago and United States. Postwar design has been the focus for 18 yrs and we also look forward to new design that crosses boundaries and dialogues as well to the past
