Rare Pair of Svend Skipper Carved Teak & Plaid Armchairs for Skipper Mobler
-
Description
Designed by Svend Skipper, these rarely seen armchairs serve as the little brothers for the Model 91, similar to Wegner's AP Stolen "Papa Bear" lounger. Made with solid teak frames, they feature exposed carved wood arms and solid legs that lend a sleek stance. The silk gren plaid upholstery meshes very nicely with the teak, providing a sense of warmth. Sitting in these chairs, you'll never want to get back up. Includes a total of 5 cushions, 2 for the seats, 2 for the backs, and one matching sofa style cushion.
In very nice condition. Purchased from an upstate NY home, they were clearly rarely sat in. The upholstry has no issues whatsoever, and the frames are sturdy and solid. You will love these chairs. -
