Elegant large 19th century marine or campaign chest in solid camphor with two locks
Camphor of very good quality with a very beautiful flame or all the faces are composed of a single camphor board
English navy chest with brass reinforcements typical of this style of furniture and its carrying handles on the side. The chest has the particularity of having brass reinforcements on the entire chest. Which is unusual and gives it a lot of charm
Very beautiful wood which was used at the time since camphor is resistant to woodworms and these chests were used on English navy ships
