French 19th Century Walnut Confiturier Cabinet

$ 3,675
  • Description
    Dimensions: 41” H x 35 ¼” W x 17 ⅜” D

    This exceptional walnut confiturier comes from France, circa 1840, and displays a beautiful, rich patina over the case that exhibits striking color and grain. It features a single drawer in the frieze over a paneled, locking door enclosing the large cabinet. Inside is a single shelf, 11 ¾” deep leaving 9” above and 18 ⅞” below. Storage pieces such as this confiturier were originally used to stock jams and jellies, however, the handsome cabinet would be very useful as a small dry bar or buffet. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for its next chapter in your home. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
