A rare George Nelson five drawer thin edge rosewood dresser, circa 1955. This stunning piece has dynamic rich rosewood graining and features five drawers with metal pulls and the iconic thin edge leg. Foil label inside drawer (George Nelson for Herman Miller). This dresser is in excellent condition, have recently been stripped and restored. The legs was machined from solid blocks of aluminum matching the original leg . George Nelson was an American industrial designer, most famously known for being the lead designer for Herman Miller while also leading his own company, George Nelson Associates, creating 20th century modernist furniture.
