Description
Grand-scale French baroque painted wardrobe, or armoire, circa 1670-1709. Excellent sturdy condition and almost all original. Interior measures 78 inches high x 58 inches wide x 22.75 inches deep. Three shaped-front shelves can be removed or adjusted. Wardrobe sits upon robust bun feet and simple back posts. Two working locks with keys, along with interior latch. Early layers of paint, cloth, glue and gesso.
