An elegant Mid-Century Modern Heywood Wakefield “Plaza” Tall five drawer Dresser, c. 1950s. The Plaza series was designed by Leo Jiranek, known as the Dean of Furniture Design, and is made of birch wood. This is a beautiful example of Mid-Century craftsmanship by Heywood Wakefield. This beautiful dresser is a difficult to find style. An extremely well made and solid piece in great condition with simple elegant lines. Features beautifully drawer design, accented with sculpture pulls the whole rest on recessed feet. Makers Label on the inside of the top drawer (Heywood Wakefield). Attractive classic modernist quality and design piece for the modern interior.
Condition Report: Original finish, with minor wear, overall nice surface condition is strong and sturdy. Drawers glide smoothly.
