An elegant Mid Century Modern pair of nightstands/end tables designed by Andre Bus for the First Edition Collection by Lane c. 1960s. This is a beautiful example of Mid-Century craftsmanship by Lane Furniture. Each feature one deep drawer, with a beautiful sculpted louvered front design, curving at an angle over the face the drawer, accented with raised edge side panels, creating a stunning profile, the whole rest on recessed long tapered legs. Extremely well made and solid pair. The First Addition Line is known for its cascading angular design. The wood is naturally highlighted in a walnut pattern throughout, with a rich glossy brown tone. Attractive classic modernist quality and design piece for the modern interior.
Condition Report: Original finish, with minor wear, overall nice surface condition. Construction is strong and sturdy. Drawers operate smoothly.
