Antique 19th century French tall Louis Philippe style semainier chest of seven drawers c.1870. The chest’s mahogany top has a molded and crossbanded edge over a shallow top drawer and six slightly graduated deeper drawers with beautifully figured and symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneered fronts. The chest has brass escutcheons, solid mahogany sides, and bun feet. It has excellent color and is in good condition. -
