Mid-Century Italian White Oak Veneer Sideboard with Brass Pulls, circa 1950s
-
Description
This mid-century sideboard was made in Italy in the 1950s and features a streamlined, modern form with clean lines and balanced proportions. The cabinet is finished in white oak veneer with a warm natural tone that highlights the grain of the wood. Four doors span the front of the piece, each fitted with a simple solid brass pull that adds a refined visual detail.
The sideboard sits on a minimalist platform-style base, giving it a sturdy yet light presence. Inside, the cabinet includes open shelving that provides practical storage, making it suitable for use as a credenza, media cabinet, or dining room storage.
The piece has been fully restored and presents beautifully. Minor surface wear may be present, consistent with its age and history of use. It is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center. -
