Pair of Golden Amber or Champagne "Pagliesco" Murano Glass Lamps handblown in Venice, Italy, by the master glassblower Alberto Dona. Textured (ridged) glass spheres are separated by glass rings that are fused. The Murano glass is a rich hand-blown smoked amber glass, distinguished by its warm, honeyed glow and subtle smoky undertones and rich shimmering effect. This pair of lamps has been wired for the US market and is on display at the 1stdibs Gallery at the New York Design Center. Lampshades are not included and only for reference purposes. Measurements are as follows: Overall diameter: 9.5" (at the base), Height of glass base: 16", Height to the edge of the socket: 19" (not including the harp)
