Description
Classic French Art Deco cabinet by Soubrier, ca. 1924, in amboyna and sculpted lacquered wood. Soubrier originated as a cabinet-making firm in the Faubourg Saint Antoine in Paris more than a century ago. This elegant cabinet with its nicely articulated lacquered carving was pictured in Mobilier et Decoration in 1924. It is in original condition and unrestored in the photographs. 52" wide x 19.5" deep x 75" high.
