Description
A pair of 18th century wall-mounted gilt consoles of demi-lune form, the curved aprons with scrolled grapevine and acanthus mesh carving, over three winged eagles to each console, on tripart acanthus branch supports ending in a bold central leaf motif drop-finial, surmounted by extra thick original Sicilian jasper tops with wonderful book-matched veining. Italy, circa 1770.
