This Art Deco Floating Glass Topped Console shelf in Black Lacquer originates from the United States Circa 1935. Featuring a substantial glass top, this piece mounts on the wall and can be installed at a variety of heights depending on the demands of your space and intended use. The piece is charmingly composed, with L shaped black Lacquer brackets a fixed to the wall, from which curved chrome bands extend and rise upwards, supporting a lucite cylinder fitted with spherical brass fittings, running parallel beneath the glass top. Streamline and sophisticated, this is an excellent example of the creative materials and machined execution present in the Art Deco era. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors and is perfect for displaying sculptures and items of daily use. In Mint Restored Condition.
