This Bold and unique Art Deco Pedestal in Black Lacquered Walnut with Antique White Gold Foglia Motifs originates from France, Circa 1935. Featuring a rectilinear construction and a tiered plinth base, all four sides feature a nested motif of white gold hand carved Foglia leaves that undulate beautifully approaching all four edges and handling positive and negative space with a high degree of sophistication and composition. Finished beautifully in black lacquer and with thoughtful geometric proportions, this pedestal is ideal for displaying sculpture vases or other decor of your choosing. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors in settings from Art Deco to Mid-century Modernist and Contemporary spaces. In mint restored condition.
