Description
The 'Cloud' is a spectacular side table with structure in mirror polished stainless steel and top in Azul Macaubas quartzite. The mirror-like finishing of the stainless steel creates different perceptions of this particular material and allows interesting reflections of light.

Side table dimension: L 46 x W 44 x H 40 cm. Dimensions are customizable.

Limited Edition of 45.

Each table is hand signed and numbered by the artists (engraved), 100% handmade in Italy and comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”.

We wanted to kidnap a cloud, slice it into thin sheets like it's done with blocks of marble.
After, we take the central slab with the most beautiful pattern.
To keep the cloud from escaping, we tied it on to weights, disguising them as light, golden legs.
Now, that the cloud is fixed to the ground forever we dressed her in the colour of Azul Macaubas which rested for millennia in the depth of heavy mountains.
The cloud has become a table and nobody will ever unmask it.

The artworks by Barberini & Gunnell are regularly shown at international art fairs, such as PAD London, PAD Genève, PAD Monaco, Salon Art + Design New York, ArtMiami.
