Depth: 39.25" // Marked by grand proportions and minimalist restraint, this stately table likely graced the study of a Qing-dynasty scholar who would have used its wide expanse for spreading out painted scrolls or works of calligraphy. To cultivate uncluttered and inspiring surroundings, only a few carefully arranged objects would have been placed upon the table, such as a brush pot, inkstone or table screen.
