Very fine English Regency rosewood sofa table circa 1820 with satinwood crossbanding and brass inlay, the perfectly sunfaded top with shaped drop flaps, all with double bands of satinwood inlay, over two drawers similarly banded and with brass inlaid tablet between, standing on turned rosewood columns with brass collars, the center stretcher similarly turned and brass mounted, standing on gracefully swept legs with brass band inlay and ending in brass paw feet and casters, the whole with lovely mellow surface and patination. 58 1/2" wide with flaps opened
