Depth: 28" // This meditation stone coffee table exemplifies Organic Modern style with an emphasis on natural materials. A polished stone slab comprises the tabletop, awash with lush green color and beautifully patterned with sweeping veins of serpentine, jadeite and moss agate.

The greenery stone top is elevated by spherical legs of solid ambrosia maple, carved to match the sinuous contours of the stone. The stone slab is nestled into the spheres as though resting on two soft cushions, sculpted with rounded curves and creases that follow the wood grain like the folds of draped fabric.

The custom wooden base is sculpted by a local Chicago artisan who power carves with handheld tools to create unique spherical forms. The irregular shapes flank the table at either end with modern asymmetry, with one of oblong form and the other of a stacked, hourglass design, both secured to a support brace concealed beneath the stone top.
