Early 19th Century Italian Rustic Ebonised Centre Table.

Ebonised throughout with gilt metal or ormolu paterae to the tops and bases of each of the scrolling supports. The piece has flattened bun feet supporting an quadripartite platform stretcher.

The supports lead up to a deep frieze and overhanging top. The four supports are of refined S scroll shape.
