Fossil Ammonite Tony Duquette Inspired Coffee Table
-
Description
This uniquely created table could easily have been inspired by the the aesthetics of Tony Duquette. The neoclassical heavy cast plaster plinth is eight-side and detailed in an egg-and-dart design, and well as in cast scrolls. Additionally, the plinth displays a rich patina highlighting the casting. The marble top features a large fossil ammonite at its center, surrounded by 8 pie-shaped wedges of heavily fossil-included marble. This table is one-of-a-kind--it and would be a show-stopping addition to a study, covered patio, or a family room. The table is in overall good condition, but displays good patina to the base and signs of use to the top.
