Description
This is a unique studio produced desk designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Price Tower in Bartlesville Oklahoma. This particular example was commissioned by the owner of the tower, Carolyn Price, for her personal office. The desks in Price Tower were custom-designed by Frank Lloyd Wright to fit the unique layouts of each office. As a result of the building's rotating pinwheel floorplan, the dimensions and orientation of the desks varied to meet the needs of the space. This particular example is unique from most of the other desks in the towers as it was ordered to Carolyn's own specifications. Patinated copper base, Brass, Mahogany & Oak. Manufactured 1956.
