French 19th Century Oak Dining Table
-
Description
Dimensions: 30 ½” H x 98 ¼” W x 30 ⅝” D
A beautiful country farmhouse dining table from 19th century France, handcrafted in oak. Thick planks of the top surface show a beautiful patina of color and texture among the dark water rings that confirm its daily usage over generations. Chamfered corners give the design further visual interest as well as an inviting detail. Within the apron are two drawers, conveniently placed in one short end side and the adjacent long side. Note the impressive dovetail joinery that is evidence of the talent and technique behind the table’s creation including the squared and slightly tapering legs without visible joinery. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready to join your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more.
