French 19th Century Oval Walnut Drop Leaf Dining Table
-
Description
A gorgeous solid walnut oval drop leaf dining table made circa 1860 in France. The top’s center is made from a single board. The rich walnut is wonderfully patinated, with beautiful graining and warm coloration. Leather tabs can be pulled to extend the supports for the two drop leaves. With the leaves up, the table makes a wonderful dining table. It would be ideally suited for smaller groups and would be perfect for a breakfast room. The table legs are linear and taper to meet brass sabots, which are equipped with casters. This table has been tightened, cleaned and polished with a French paste wax. Take a look at the detailed photos to view the table’s current condition and appearance.
