Description
A stately French writing desk in the Louis XIV style with a rectangular top inset with a rich, tooled leather writing surface, framed by a molded edge, and flanked on either side by pull-out leather-lined slides, offering expanded workspace.
The desk features classic Louis XIV design elements, including bold legs, and a symmetrical layout with three drawers across the apron. The deep black ebonized finish provides a dramatic contrast to the warm patina of the leather, giving the piece a striking yet elegant presence.
Ideal for a library, study, or executive office, this desk blends 18th-century grandeur with 20th-century craftsmanship. -
