A striking contemporary French marble dining table that might also double as an unexpected desk or center table for a grand entryway. The oval slab of marble is cut wide and deep, characterized by ribbons of lavender and green veining that streak through the creamy white background. A base of two independent legs (detached from the top and each other) rely on gravity to stabilize the mass of stone above, and can be repositioned to suit one’s needs or function. These angular supports have a brass-toned plating which complements the sense of glamor and luxury conveyed by such a unique piece of marble, appealing to both modern and vintage decor styles.
