Description
An exceptional Mid-Century Modern serving expandable bar cart by Grete Jalk for Paul Jeppesen Denmark, circa 1960s. Beautifully crafted from rosewood, this cleverly designed piece features a sliding upper top that slides and turns 90 degrees and expands to a 35.5″ wide serving surface. The beautiful rosewood top and brass hardware creates a stunning contrast. Elegant, yet functional, the rosewood bar top slides and flips open for an extended surface on both sides when entertaining, doubling the serving space. This stunning cart rolls over both hard and carpeted floors with four hooded castors. An exemplary mid century bar cart with its simple form is enhanced by a rich warm rosewood patina that only develops with age. A wonderful example of mid century modern furniture, this drink trolley will add to your family’s entertainment experience with its function and design.
