Nice early example of the iconic cafe table, designed in 1907 for the Fledermaus cabaret in Vienna. This example stands out due to the hand-hammered brass top and lower cladding. The base is a red stained beechwood.

Documentation: Signed Origin: Austria Period: 1900-1919 Materials: Beech, Brass Condition: Good. The 40+ year old refinished surface has taken on some patina. Due to age, a small gap has formed between the brass top and rim. Minor old repairs visible from underside including small spots of glue residue. Scattered hairlines in wood.
