Description
An early modernist desk produced in the 1930s Italy during the Rationalist period of architecture and design. Rationalist designers aimed to break away from the historical styles and ornamentation of the past, favoring instead a more functional and industrial approach. This desk has classic Bauhaus elements with clean lines and chromed metal foot rest that provides additional desk stability. Beautiful walnut used overall with a singular side leg and four right-side drawers over green-painted plinth base - all with simple rounded dowel-form handles. Images not yet updated - desk has since been fully restored.

Its an understanding that a lifestyle is a collection that implicitly values the modern’s place with the traditional and that style is the union of good pieces
