Logniture, Walnut Solid Wood Sculptural Side Table, Original Contemporary Design
-
Description
This sculptural side table is a one-of-a-kind work of functional art, carved entirely by hand from a single hardwood log. Its form rises from a broad, grounded base into a slender, tapering column that flares again into a solid top, creating a silhouette that feels both fluid and rooted. The shape follows the natural movement of the wood, resulting in a profile that appears grown rather than built.
The surface reveals a spectrum of grain tones, from pale sapwood to deep heartwood, with unique spalting patterns, knots, and fissures telling the story of the tree’s life. Subtle curves and tool marks are preserved, celebrating the handwork behind the piece.
Crafted using chainsaws, carving tools, and careful sanding, the design balances sculptural presence with practical use. The wide, flat top makes it suitable as a side table, pedestal, or stand for art objects, while its organic form invites tactile engagement.
Perfect for wabi-sabi, Japandi, rustic modern, or contemporary interiors, this table offers both utility and a grounded, elemental character. Its natural finish enhances the wood’s depth and texture, allowing the material’s raw beauty to speak for itself.
Sealed with natural oils and waxes to nourish and protect the surface. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom-grade furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
