Description
This sculptural side table is a one-of-a-kind piece, carved by hand from a single solid hardwood log. Its form recalls an hourglass in motion, with the flared top and base connected by a slender, twisted center that opens into a negative space. The design balances strength and delicacy, making the table feel both rooted and weightless.
The surface preserves the tree’s history through visible growth rings, natural cracks, and warm tonal variations that shift across the grain. Every knot and fissure is left as part of the design, highlighting the authenticity of the material. Smooth hand-finished curves give it a tactile quality that invites touch.
Crafted using chainsaws, carving tools, and refined handwork, this table reflects a process guided by the raw timber itself. Its sculptural form makes it as much an object of art as a functional side table or pedestal.
Perfect for interiors that value organic form and elemental character, from wabi-sabi and Japandi to rustic modern and contemporary spaces.
Finished with natural oils and waxes to nourish and protect the wood while preserving its depth and texture. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom-grade furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
