Description
A refined French rolling table crafted in blond mahogany in the Louis XVI style, dating to the twentieth century. Elegant in proportion and light in appearance, this piece reflects neoclassical design through its symmetry, clean lines, and restrained ornamentation.
The table stands on four tapered, fluted legs terminating in casters, allowing for ease of movement. The legs are joined by a lower shelf with softly rounded corners, providing additional surface space while reinforcing structural balance. The upper tray also features rounded corners and is protected by removable glass, preserving the wood beneath.
Surrounding the top is an openwork brass gallery fitted with bronze handles, combining decorative refinement with functional use. The warm mahogany surface shows gentle wear consistent with age, contributing to a pleasing and authentic patina. Ideal as a bar cart, side table, or serving table, this rolling piece offers versatility while maintaining classic French elegance suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
