Maison Jansen Style, Hollywood Regency, Black Lacquer, Bronze, Ebonized Louis XVI Style Dining Table, France, 1940s
Magnificent fully refinished example of a Louis XVI style dining table in the manner of Maison Jansen, designed and produced in France in the early part of the 20th century. This ebonized Mahogany table has three (3) insertable leaves and a set of pull down legs in the middle. Very high quality bronze mounts decorate the cookie cutter corners and table apron. Each of the four reeded legs sharply taper to good quality bronze sabots.
