Mario Ceroli is an important italian sculptor and set designer. He's most famous as one of the protagonists of the Arte Povera, an italian art group active during 60s. His work is characterized by the use of the wood in many shapes and types.
Here we have a very peculiar table designed by the artist Mario Ceroli in 70s and produced by Poltronova. The model of the table is "Rosa dei Venti" (wind rose in english) exactly because on the top there is a very beautiful inlay of the Wind Rose and at the four vertices of the table there are indications of the four directions North, South, East and West.
Also the base of the table is a very gorgeous work of inlay and joint of different woods.
The table has the signature of the author and the brandmark Poltronova as shown in photos.
