Description
Superb large Rosso Levanto marble dining table, 50" diameter. From Italy, retailed by Maurice Villency, circa 1970s. Has a wonderfully smooth finish with lots of clairty into the grain. Many bright and attractive colors in the marble: green, cherry-red, with white spider movements. Very dramatic! Top is over one inch thick, with a friendly bullnose profile. Base is a multi-sided octagonal column. Top rests on base with no connecting hardware. Super sturdy. Fresh from the original and upscale Long Island NY modernist home, where I purchased it from the original owner.
Condition is very nice vintage and lightly used. Some filled natural lines in the top and base, from factory half a century ago. Top is over 100 lbs. Base is roughly 80 lbs. Measure: 50" in diameter, 29" tall. - More Information
