Tecno Executive Desk in Walnut and Cast Aluminum by Osvaldo Borsani, Italy 1950s

Sold Sold
  • Description
This Italian 1950s desk, which can also serve as a table, exudes an unprecedented class and elegance. The very solid boat-shaped top is made of walnut wood and shows a beautiful drawing. Italian walnut is seen as one of the most beautiful and that attractiveness is displayed in this table. Light brown tones alternate with gold tones, which are then surrounded by a range of brown tones. The natural beauty evokes a feeling of desire and in combination with the brushed aluminum legs, a poem is created. Three small drawers are very subtly hidden under the top, which are completely removable. The top naturally plays the leading role in this spectacle and the drawers serve to add their contribution. These storage areas are also made entirely of walnut and are lacquered at the front in the same way as the top. The beautiful cast aluminum legs each have three feet that end in a round shape. This has been designed and elaborated in such a refined way that technology and aesthetics go hand in hand. The Tecno label can be found on both legs and cabinets can be mounted on the four brackets. Please note that these are not included with this item. The table has been completely restored, whereby the patina and the other beautiful features that give this table its character have been fully preserved.
