Pair of French Modern Neoclassical Wrought Iron Side Tables
-
Description
A delicate, refined pair of French Mid-Century Modern neoclassical side or end tables / gueridons in the spirit of Jean Michel Frank. The pieces are composed of a pure, sober, minimal, yet dramatic tripod form. The legs are long, thin and angled near the tops; they cross brace each other and a gilt iron ring unites them in the center. As they taper toward the floor each leg pierces a gilt iron ball providing dramatic effect. A thick pebbled black stone top completes each.
