This striking and rare Mid-Century Brutalist Patchwork Wall Mounted Console with Granite Top is by Paul Evans and originates from the United States Circa 1970. Featuring a rectangular form with the surface achieved using the Patchwork motif Evans explored deeply in his work, a variation of metals and finishes joined together and unified with expressive and gestural marks in the surface of the metal, the experience and quality are on full display. The top of the console is in slate, a matte finish adding variation to the more reflective and textured metal surfaces. This piece is unique and well crafted, styling beautifully in a wide array of interiors and settings, from Mid-Century to Contemporary and Minimal Spaces. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
