    Rare and important "Odyssey Coffee Table" in patinated bronze and pewter with hand-painted enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, America 1960's (signed “Kelvin Philip LaVerne”). On the left side, there is an artist sketching on the steps of the Erectheum ruins. Kelvin LaVerne explained to Evan Lobel that he drew himself into the scene. On the right side is the Parthenon. Muses stand in the foreground. This is a superb work of art.

In the back of the catalog is a description which reads: “ODYSSEY: Hand sculptured bronze inlaid with pewter, depicting the muses of dance, music and drama posed amidst the Erectheum and Parthenon. A cast bronze column forms the base.”
