    Stunning and unique “Abstract #1” dining table with 2 hand-brazed abstract sculpture bases in patinated bronze with a thick glass top by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1980's (engraved “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” in metal and original gallery label on bottom of base). Hand-welding bronze full curves and undulations is extremely difficult. These bases have a sense of harmony and can accommodate any size glass top.

    Reference: Lobel Modern Archive contains a black and white photo provided by Kelvin LaVerne showing this table when it was originally made with the name written below it.
