Description
Depth: 19.5" // The warm tones and active grain of natural pine wood are the focus of this unusually articulated Dongbei table. Made for a provincial home in northeastern China, this table was once used to honor loved ones past and present with photos or other prized possessions. Crafted in the late 19th century, the table is devoid of any excess decoration apart from its simple metal hardware. Punctuated by a double door, the table extends horizontally on either side to reveal more storage. With its overhanging table top, extended apron, and low-lying stretcher bars, this buffet charms with unconventional beauty. We love its emphasis on natural wood and the depth of character earned through decades of use.
