Satin Glass "Isom Tall" Coffee Table, Sebastian Scherer
-
Description
Satin glass "Isom Tall" coffee table - Sebastian Scherer Dimensions: 45 H x 39 W x 45 D cm Materials: Solid coloured glass Different colors and sizes are available The Isom tables play with a fascinating optical illusion. The hexagonal glass panel is UV glued with three vertical foot elements whose edges, viewed from a certain angle, convey the perfect isometric drawing of a cube. A special detail are the CNC-ground double mitres and the seamless bonding of the foot elements. The different sizes and variants can be combined very well. The glass tables are available in four colours, each in clear glass and satined. The NEO/CRAFT label was founded by the Berlin-based designer Sebastian Scherer after he won the Lexus Design Award 2014 for his Iris lamp (2013). The debut collection, which consisted of ten products, was first presented at the imm cologne in January 2015 in what Wallpaper* Magazine described as “one of the most impressive debuts in 2015.” Exhibitions at trade fairs in Milan and London followed this same year. Since then, Sebastian Scherer has worked as a designer and creative director in equal measure. The collection consists of his designs, but these can also undergo further development in the future through the input of other designers. The central element in his developmental process is the continual search for new creative possibilities with classical materials such as aluminum, steel, glass and wood.
