Beautiful Mid-Century Modern walnut executive Desk by Standard Furniture Company Herkimer, NY. Large Beautiful remarkable statement in design and craftsmanship. This large mid century walnut executive size desk, precisely crafted in exceptional walnut grain wood, with a fully finished back the finished back side makes this desk ideal for placement in an open floor plan, making it a great focal point, shows beautifully preserved wood grain, monumental table-like design top above one center pull out pencil drawer flanked by 2 pull out writing shelves for extra workspace.
Five storage drawers below, all sitting on metal glides, one for filing (measuring 10″ Tx 12″ W) with dividers. Each drawer is accented with a beautiful brass pull. The large work space allows it to be used as a partners desk for double occupancy. The desk is structurally sound and in good vintage condition with minor wear to the writing surface. This piece defines that space around it making a statement in whatever room it becomes a part of it will surely be a focal point.
Condition Report: The desk is structurally sound and in good vintage condition, writing surface shows wear with faint visible scratches. The interior of the pencil drawer shows graffiti shown in the photo. The desk is sturdy, strong.
