A rare marble table made of Alabaster-Crystal, with a thick, very durable and perfectly polished resign coating on the top and base. This large and super cool table easily seats 8 to ten guest at 78.75" long, by 42" wide. The oval top is finished with a simple yet welcoming tapering edge, often called a "knife-edge". And rests on a handsomely designed segmented base.

This is a stunning marble type with a shimmer that semi-translucent and even iridescent. I see glimmers of fragments that look silver, probably Mica, floating if a field that bronze or copper colored. This is what makes this table unique and stunning!

Condition: The top and base are in wonderful condition. Normal light scuffs that are only visible upon close scrutiny. The weighs about 175lbs, same for the base. There's an intermediate wood plate for attachment of the top to the base.

Provenance: I purchased this table from the original owners in an upscale neighborhood in Bergan County NJ. It was in a pristine home and they had clearly loved and taken very good care of it.
