Unique and elegant one-of-a-kind, five-drawer desk in walnut veneer with solid brass pulls, designed as a bedroom or sitting room desk, for the master bedroom of the Kandell Penthouse apartment at the original Ritz Carlton on Park Ave. South. This 1953 Robsjohn-Gibbings commission by the buildings owners, for their personal residence, included custom interiors with bespoke furniture designs for all rooms. The last photo, an interior still of the apartment, shows the cabinet in situ. Finished on back.
