Vivai del Sud Elephant-Shaped Table in Rattan, 70s
-
Description
In the late 1960s Vivai del Sud consolidated its position with integrated architecture firms with a place in design excellence and furniture and furnishings production through its own factories in Italy and, strategically linked to the product, in Senegal, Brazil and the Philippines.
Before long, after successful reinterpretations of gardens, terraces, and streets in our country, they landed in New York and gardens in the Arab Emirates and became the emblem of the capital's nouvelle vague everywhere. At the height of the 1970s, despite the economic crisis, they began to deal in furniture objects, focusing everything on the unique, expensive, exclusive piece. And the success continues. So they get into publishing, financing architectural and other magazines and printing valuable volumes of poetry. But their prevailing interest remains furniture objects and furniture that are born out of a vast creative and stylistic endeavor, with a great deal of originality and love for detail, execution and the choice of materials and their forms.
Here we have a very peculiar low table elephant-shaped entirely in rattan designed by Vivai del Sud, Italy in 70s.
